Results of Parent Questionnaire Spring 2017

Thank you for your comments.

Once again we are delighted that the overwhelming majority of parents strongly agree or agree with all statements on the questionnaire – it is great to know that you see the school in such a positive light.  Your thoughtful comments and suggestions are both valued and appreciated in our constant effort to find new and innovative ways to improve the school experience for both children and parents.

We were concerned to hear that a few of you have had problems accessing the ‘Bug Club’ resources. In response we have put an offer out to parents to bring tablets into school for our technician to help solve these issues – 2 of which have been fixed already!  In addition we are still sending reading books home as some of you commented that you preferred to share a ‘paper’ book rather than an electronic version.  Many of you commented on how much you and your children enjoyed the ‘Bug Club’ resources and we now believe we have achieved a good balance between ‘paper’ and ‘on-line’ reading books in Key Stage 1.

Whilst the ‘Bug Club’ had the only significant percentage of disagreement we constantly look to improve all aspects of our provision.  Even though only 4 responses disagreed with statement 6, we are constantly looking into ways of helping you play a greater role in your child’s education. The greater the interest you show and the greater the value you put on what your child does in school, the greater their motivation will be to succeed.
