School Grounds Development

Our school council are involved in a project to develop the use of the school grounds so that children have a better experience at break and lunch times.  The school council have been researching interesting and innovative use of school grounds and four council members got to visit  Edmondsley Primary to see how they have changed their break and lunch experiences for their children.  This is a long term project but to start with we have had a kind  donation of tyres which the children have had enormous fun using in imaginative ways!  After half term the garden and woodland areas will be developed and opened to children with  activities such as digging, sand/water areas and  shelter building planned.  The children are all very excited at the prospect!
