How do we consult with our SEN pupils

Class Teachers, the school’s SENCo and Support Staff will work with children and young people to identify the support needed to meet agreed outcomes. The provision is planned and interventions are allocated to individual needs. The children take an active role with setting their targets, discussing them with the class teacher. The targets are recorded as outcomes in the children’s Education Support Plan, which is shared and discussed with parents before being finalised.
The children have regular meetings with support staff to discuss their progress and support.

Children also have the opportunity to share their views about school life in general by talking to their class school council member, who will take their views to be voiced at the regular School Council Meetings.

If you would like to discuss your SEND requirements in detail please contact the school  to arrange an appointment.
