Primary Schools are now required to publish alongside their Performance information a list of their childcare provision making it easier for parents to know what is available.
Breakfast Club
Our Breakfast Club is available Monday to Friday (term time only) for children in years 1 – 6 from 8.15am. A selection of cereals, fruit juice and toast is provided. Children can arrive anytime after 8.15am for breakfast. The club is supervised and ran by school staff.
The Breakfast Club offers activities in addition to breakfast. For example, table top games, books and time to chat. It provides social, academic and creative opportunities as well as a healthy start to the day.
How much is it?
Breakfast club has a minimal charge of 20p per day per child. This can be paid to the school office each day when the children sign in or weekly in advance.
How do I book?
There is no need to book a place. Children can simply drop in to the club by signing in at the school office any time after 8.15am. If you require any further information please do not hesitate to contact us.
Extra Curricular Clubs
Willington Primary School has a selection of extra curricular clubs for a range of different year groups.
After School Child Care Provision
The current extended school provision is currently under review. However, children may attend a number of private care schemes in the area. Further information can be obtained from the SureStart Children’s Centre or County Durham Families Information Service.
