Our School Grounds
Our pupils are very fortunate that at Willington Primary School we have large school grounds, hidden at the back of our school yard! Many parents aren’t aware of out fantastic outdoor space as you can’t see it from the roadside.
We have a large field which children love to play on in the summer and is also great for P.E lessons and Sports competitions.
Beside the field we have a forest area- this is utilised in the summer for Forest School activities such as deb building, camp fires and wildlife hunts.
There is a garden area which our Eco Club are developing so we can grow fruits and vegetables. The school playground is equipped with sectioned off areas for football.
There is a play structure and playground markings that give pupils an idea of games to play. At playtimes, we have our play leaders who lead games using play equipment.
