Children in year 1 visited St Mary’s Lighthouse this week. They had an amazing day which started with a spot of rockpooling. They couldn’t believe the wide variety of creatures they found living there. The class then climbed the 137 steps to the top of the lighthouse, finally reaching the lantern room where they got a birds eye view of the seals down below! The day ended with a creative twist as they experimented with sand art on the beach!
