As part of year 6’s crime and punishment topic they took a trip to Durham Heritage Museum to bring their learning to life. The class took part in a crime and punishment workshop where they experienced what it was like to be in the stocks and they even tasted gruel! As you can see from the photo it wasn’t enjoyed! They heard all about crimes and punishments from the 19th Century. To finish their day they also toured Durham Cathedral which was throughly enjoyed.
